Sean had the idea to invite a few people down to our hut as a chance for everyone to get to know each… exchange ideas… enjoy a ‘posh picnic’… in other words an opportunity to have a day out on the foreshore and call it work…!
Jonathan & Cathy Kelly from The Spa Hotel, Saltburn, Kieran Rankin from Valley Adventures, Sally Briggs from North York Moors Tourism all joined us for a great day…
John from Castle Coast Campers had planned to join us too but a poorly child/wife changed his plans, hope everyone’s better now John…:)
A recent cliff fall had left lots of fossils exposed.. there was a little bit of “my fossil is better than yours” going on…:)
Lunch started with home-made soup & crusty bread… followed by mussels (thanks Jon & Cathy) and lobsters… salads & potatoes… & to finish home-made cakes…. lemon and fruit cake…. with damson gin & Wensleydale cheese (thanks Susan)…
