The first is a day course for Wednesday 2nd January 2013… it will be a chance to get out into the fresh air after days spend inside ‘celebrating’… perfect to work off some of those extra pounds you’ve put on over the festive period… an opportunity to explore the foreshore with expert guides… to learn something about the history of the area from mining to shipwrecks… hunt for fossils and jet… then enjoy a home-made meal… before a stroll back to Staithes along the Cleveland Way…
The second date is for the Easter holiday’s… Thursday 11th April 2013… this will be one of our paint courses… you will be given the opportunity to collect the raw pigments then process it… learn how to make charcoal… take rubbings of the fossil beds… and of course we’ll feed you as well… home-made soup… lobsters… and home-made cake too… read what Countryfile Magazine have to say about our Ancient Paint Palette Course… click here
